Stories of Endurance

Nisha PuriNisha is survived by her ailing father and two brothers. Even being slightly polio affected, she did not take out the zeal of living life. She was slowly convinced by Youth Veerangnayen volunteers to earn a living and support her family. Over a period of time, she learnt tailoring at one of the centers run by volunteers. She ,with their help, started earning livelihood by started stitching clothes for locals and thereby supporting her family of father and younger brother and sister.

She served as an inspiration for other girls in the centers and there were many like Jaspreet, Gintanjali, Seema, Sunita, Neelam, Babli, Sudesh and Munni who looked upto her and have started making living out of their own.
